Jessica S. De Jesus is a freelance copywriter, marketing strategist, and PR professional based in Washington, D.C.

A former ballet dancer, born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Jessica spent most of her childhood in a dance studio or reading a book.

She went to American University, graduating with degrees in Journalism and International Relations. Her professional marketing career began at Edelman, a global marketing communications firm where she specialized in international media strategy and client relations.

De Jesus has cultivated a breadth of international and domestic media relationships and has developed strategic earned media planning and execution. She has also worked with international media outlets to place op-eds and letters to the editors such as CNN International and the Wall Street Journal. Her strong media background comes from her time as a political intern reporter with SiriusXM, the largest audio network in the world, as well as an editorial contributor in the Philippines covering the President’s office, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police.

In addition to her media expertise, De Jesus functions as a project manager and on-the-ground organizer for major events across the world from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) to the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative.
